THE FOUNDERS

Jacobs Home, Inc. started with a dream shared by parents with developmentally disabled adult children. Through the generous support of Sharon* & Steve Jacobs and the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis, these parents and friends were able to see their dream become reality. The progressive alternative to institutional living opened its doors in 1991. The community created allows each person it serves to feel accepted, valued and nurtured to live as an adult with a rich, meaningful and rewarding life.
